Central Florida Orthopaedic Surgery Associates is a subspecialty practice confined to disorders of the adult and pediatric upper limb, including the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand. This encompasses fractures, dislocations, carpal tunnel syndrome, tendon and ligament injuries, infections, tumors, vascular disorders, replacement and reconstruction of the arthritic shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand, trauma, microsurgery, peripheral nerve surgery and congenital hand surgery.
We provide a tertiary care practice for adult and pediatric patients with complex upper extremity disorders. This includes tendon transfers for irreparable rotator cuff tears, reverse total shoulder arthroplasty for rotator cuff deficient arthritic shoulders, revision shoulder and elbow arthroplasty, osteotomies for intra-articular and extra-articular malunions, elbow interposition and distraction arthroplasty, internal fixation of complex intra-articular fractures and microsurgical reconstruction of the injured upper limb. Electrodiagnostic testing, radiology services, and hand therapy are provided on site.
